About J.A. Brown
J. A. Brown began her writing a career early, having a weekly column in her local hometown paper while she was still in high school. In college, she wanted to be a reporter, but changed her career path to focus on telecommunications instead.
After nearly twenty years in the telecom industry her true passion for writing re-emerged, and she took advantage of an unsolicited career change to return to writing, soon realizing that it was something she had been missing, something that was more important to her than she ever realized before.
J. A. Brown writes fantasy, science fiction, erotica, and supernatural stories, and considers it a good day when she can tell a story that includes all of those things. She is not a fan of genres and labels, believing instead that every story is a love story, and the only difference is where you come into it, and the perspective that entrance point allows you.
Her greatest influences are Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Joss Whedon, Robin McKinley, Richard Matheson and J. D. Salinger.
