I’m supposed to be strong.
Until I found I was in a relationship I swore I would never be in.
I didn’t know how trapped I was until Dean Sailer walked into the diner, making me question who I turned into.
Dean reeked of overconfidence. He’s sarcastic and thinks he’s funny.
The worst part is I find myself smiling when I don’t feel like it. He brought out something inside me that I locked away a long time ago.
I wanted nothing to do with him.
I wanted to stay contained in my world.
When tragedy threatens the life of me and my best friend, he’s the one I find myself relying on.
He’s there for me when no one else is.
No matter how much I try to resist Dean Sailer, he seems to delve deeper into a place I thought was gone.
Can I change?Or will I be the definition of what I’ve made myself out to be?
If you could ask your favorite Author 3 questions what would they be?
Of course, after fan girling for a couple of minutes, and after I get my brain thinking again. I think the first thing I would ask is what do you love most about writing? The second, who inspired you to be an author? And for the third one, it would vary on what my favorite book of theirs would be, but I would probably ask something I’ve wanted to know about the main characters.
What genre is your favorite and why?
This is so hard to answer, because I know I can’t just pick one. I feel like every year I have a favorite time. But as of now, I love second chance love stories! I am a sucker for best friends.
Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?
I wasn’t like this at first, but now, I have to admit, I LOVE ebooks. I just love carrying so many stories in one little space.
What book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?
Right now, I am in the final book of the Shatter Me series in ebook form.
What book are you about to start reading?
I don’t have any that I’m going to start, but I am looking forward to a few books that will be coming out, by Tillie Cole and Nicole Williams.
What book do you know that you will never read?
Is that such a thing? LOL! Well, I am a big fan of watching Nicolas Sparks book movies, and some that I watch, I know I won’t need to read it.
Are there any new Authors that have grasped your interest recently and why?
I LOVE Alison Bliss! I read ‘Rules of Protection’ and it was one of the most funny romance/action books I have ever read. It takes a talented person to make me literally LOL and look crazy to other people in the room.
Have you read a book that you would like to rewrite the ending of?
Yes, there have been a few. I can’t think of them right now, but maybe I wanted a little more action, or it sometimes didn’t have a finality to the ending.
What are your thoughts on book trailers?
I don’t mind them. I think it takes a lot of talent to make one matching what the author wants. Now, do we NEED them? Not really.
Do you have a favorite book cover? Chose up to 3 if you like.
I love the Shatter Me series covers, the metallic and those eyes are just awesome. Scorched by Jennifer Armentrout is really catching. And A thousand boy kisses is just perfect for the story! (Also to add in, I’m reallyyy loving the cover for Define Us, it’s starting to become one of my faves!)
Author Bio:
I am a Leo. Born August 10, living on the east coast. I self-published my first novel, PNEUMA, November 2014, and it’s hasn’t stopped since.
One of my biggest problems was having too much to read. Now my newfound problem; having too much to write and not enough hands to type it out. Not enough brains to put the stories together fast enough. Not enough tea or coffee to keep me awake 24/7.So, like every normal person, I have to take it one day at a time.
My cravings for sweets keep me going, any sort of cakes (especially red velvet), pies, cookies, and ice cream.
I have a cat named Bongo-Bongo, who loves to get in my way when I’m trying to work, but is too cute for me to fight him off.
And then I have my family, specifically my husband, who puts up with my endless nights, my tapping of the keyboard, my ridiculous imagination, and yet, he always encourages me to believe in myself and follow my dreams.
