Shadows of Salem Live!

Shadows of Salem Live!

I’m SO Excited!

Jasmine and I have been considering working on a project together for a while. Then finally we were ready to stop stalking about it and get started. By time we hammered out the plot, I KNEW we were onto something our readers will love. I can tell you that every step of the way in writing this we have been asking ourselves, “What do our readers want?” That’s what we wanted to give you.

This book is FOR YOU.

I hardly even know where to start as I have so many amazing things I want to tell you about this book and the SHADOWS OF SALEM series as a whole! But I guess I’ll just get on with it and tell you where you can snag a copy, because it’s only $0.99 for a short time! After the book is released from preorder, the price goes up – but we want our favorite readers to get it at a steal!

Chicago Police Detective Brooke Chandler is keeping a secret… and if she’s not careful, it could get her killed.

Brooke is no stranger to the supernatural. In Chicago, vampires are just as prevalent as drug lords, and infinitely more bloodthirsty. So when her partner and fiancé dies in a mysterious fire while chasing down a lead in Salem, she suspects something dark and otherworldly is at play.

Blessed with the ability to see into the past by touching inanimate objects, Brooke transfers to the Salem PD, hoping her talent will help her get to the bottom of things. Between dodging assassination attempts and being stonewalled at every turn, the going is tough. Add in a mysterious fae club owner with secrets of his own and a personal grudge against her, and it becomes nearly impossible.

If Brooke wants to play in the supernatural sandbox, she’s going to have to roll up her sleeves and get dirty. But how many people will have to die for Brooke to discover the truth about her fiance? And is she even ready to know?

Find out what lurks in the SHADOWS OF SALEM by pre-ordering SHADOW BORN, the latest Urban Fantasy hit our ARC readers are comparing to Karen Marie Moning and Patricia Briggs.

Sneak Peek – Random Sample Alert!

“I can’t accept this.” Anxious now, I yanked my phone from my pocket and pulled up the article I’d found in Tom’s email. “Look, here’s an article on two of the missing kids. You can’t tell me that’s not real.”

I shoved the screen in Captain Randall’s face.

The Captain’s eyes narrowed, eyebrows furrowing in concentration as he read the article. And then he shook his head. “I don’t know where you got this article, but your information is wrong. I’ve never even heard of those two boys.”

“This article is from the Boston Herald,” I said, though my determination was starting to waver. “Are you saying it’s a lie?”

“I’m saying that I’ve never heard of those boys, and that Tom wasn’t working on a kidnapping case with me.” Captain Randall’s voice was firm. “Look, Chandler, I know you’re upset that he’s gone, but there’s nothing more to do than move on. If you’re not going to do your job, the door’s there. Otherwise, take your gun, badge, and paperwork and get out of my office before I change my mind about letting you stay here.”

“I—” I clamped my lips together, choosing my words carefully before the Captain really did give me the boot. “Sir, I would appreciate it if I could at least take a look at the file regarding Tom’s case. I just don’t believe that he died in a fire.”

“Not a chance.” The Captain glared at me. “I don’t allow my detectives to work on the cases of family and friends, and as a new hire, you’re definitely no exception.”

“I understand, but—”

“The case is closed, and it’s staying that way. Now, if you want to keep your job, I suggest you put your attention towards solving open cases instead of ones that don’t need attention. Have I made myself clear?”

“Crystal,” I bit out.

He turned back to his computer. “Good. You’re dismissed.”

I gnashed my teeth against the protest bubbling up in my throat, knowing that if he turned back to look at me again, it would be the last time he ever did. So instead of pushing the matter, I grabbed my badge, gun, and folder, then headed out into the bullpen to grab a seat and fill out this damned paperwork.

The sooner I did that, the sooner I could figure out why Captain Randall was lying to me, and whatreally happened to my fiancé and those missing kids.
